In some situations the speaker stops working (no audio out) or it does not appear as an audio device in the application when using Konftel 55, Konftel 55W or Konftel 55Wx connected via USB to a laptop.
We have two possible solutions to this issue.
Solution 1
Using the Generic USB Audio Device mode setting from the hidden menu on Konftel 55Wx can in many cases solve issues in Windows.
Access it by going to Settings (cogwheel) and long pressing on the System button for 4-5 seconds on Konftel 55Wx.
Enable Generic USB Audio Device mode.
Solution 2
With some newer laptops solution 1 might not work.
In that case please try software in the link below.
1. Download above version 3.1.6
2. Download Konftel upgrade utility on a Windows PC and browse for the 3.1.6 file when upgrading the firmware. Download upgrade utility here: https://www.konftel.com/en/support#software-versions
