Check that the Konftel 300 is inthe Analogue line mode, by pressing the Line Mode button.

This message usually appears when you have connected the Konftel 300 to a digital line and not an analogue line that the Konftel 300 requires.

You have to change the default R pulse/Flash time.  It can vary from country to country but also depend on the PBX to which Konftel is connected.
